Happy New Year Everyone!

As we enter into 2016 the team at The Tapping Solution is gearing up for another Tapping World Summit 🙂 It is our favorite time of year – introducing so many new people to Tapping and all of its benefits is the best part of what we do.

For this year’s summit, we are implementing a very big change to the affiliate program, so this blog post is to update you on everything that is happening and reduce confusion as we get into the launch.

Let me start with a little history (last year’s spamming issues)…

spamming-featured-imageWe had a really bad situation during the 2015 Tapping World Summit where some affiliates were spamming with our links.  This resulted in our URL being blacklisted during the launch, which created a bit of a nightmare.  This took us weeks to fix and caused a ton of headaches during the summit.

Because of this, since last year’s summit, we’ve had a closed affiliate program.  What this means is that we are no longer accepting new affiliates unless we have built a personal relationship with them and they fit the strict standards we have put in place for new affiliates.

Closing the program to thousands of affiliates…

Sorry-were-closedIn the lead up to this year’s summit, we’ve also had to make the difficult decision to close the program to thousands of previously approved affiliates that we can no longer have promoting our summit.  If you were an affiliate in the past and are unable to log in to your affiliate account now, it is likely because we have had to deactivate your account.

We unfortunately do not have the time or resources to police the thousands of affiliates  we’ve had in the past to make sure they are using strict ant-spamming practices in their business.

If you can no longer access your affiliate account, please know that you have not been singled out.  We have had to close the door to the program on roughly 97% of the affiliates who had an active status with us.

Going Forward…

The risks involved with an open affiliate system are too great.  We have to protect our online reputation in order to share our message with as many people as possible, so this policy is not likely to change going forward.

We hope you continue to spread the word of tapping with as many people as you can and that you continue to use Tapping in your own life.

We wish you the best of luck in all you do, and thanks for supporting Tapping! 🙂

Kind Regards,

Alex Ortner and the entire Tapping Solution team
